About Rosehall

Rosehall is an onshore wind farm in Highland, Scotland, with 25 MW of generating capacity across one balancing mechanism unit: Elexon registers it at 27 MW, but RWE gives it 25 MW, and that is the capacity this page uses. It is the 148th largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by RWE. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since it was added to the list in October 2026 for the chart.

The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Rosehall as operational since February 2013, with 19 turbines of 1.3 MW.
