About Kincardine

Kincardine is an offshore wind farm off the coast of Scotland, with 50 MW of registered generating capacity across one balancing mechanism unit. It is the 100th largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by ACS Group. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since 17 October 2026 for the chart.

The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Kincardine as operational since October 2021, with 6 turbines of 9.5 MW, up to 176 m tall to the blade tip.
