About Causeymire

Causeymire is an onshore wind farm in Highland, Scotland, with 48 MW of generating capacity across one balancing mechanism unit: Elexon registers it at 0 MW, but Nadara gives it 48 MW, and that is the capacity this page uses. It is the 101st largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by Nadara. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since it was added to the list in October 2026 for the chart.

The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Causeymire as operational since June 2004. Nadara gives it 21 turbines of 2.3 MW.
