About Toddleburn
Toddleburn is an onshore wind farm in Borders, Scotland, with 28 MW of generating capacity across one balancing mechanism unit: Elexon registers it at 32 MW, but SSE gives it 28 MW, and that is the capacity this page uses. It is the 141st largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by SSE. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since 17 October 2026 for the chart.
The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Toddleburn as operational since October 2010, with 12 turbines of 2.3 MW.
