About Andershaw

Andershaw is an onshore wind farm in Strathclyde, Scotland, with 35 MW of registered generating capacity across one balancing mechanism unit. It is the 128th largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by Greencoat UK Wind. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since 17 October 2026 for the chart.

The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Andershaw as operational since November 2016, with 14 turbines of 2.5 MW.
