About Lincs

Lincs is an offshore wind farm off the coast of England, with 270 MW of generating capacity across 2 balancing mechanism units: Elexon registers them at 300 MW in all, but Ørsted gives it 270 MW, and that is the capacity this page uses. It is the 31st largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by Ørsted. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since 17 October 2026 for the chart.

The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Lincs as operational since July 2013, with 75 turbines of 3.6 MW.
