About Brockloch Rig 2

Brockloch Rig 2 is an onshore wind farm in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, with 62 MW of registered generating capacity across one balancing mechanism unit. It is the 84th largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by Fred. Olsen Renewables. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since 17 October 2026 for the chart.

Brockloch Rig 2 has sent no power since 30 September 2026: Elexon's metered figures show nothing exported and its maximum export limit is 0 MW, although its trader still sends notifications of what it would generate, which is the live figure above. Neither Elexon's outage notices nor Fred. Olsen Renewables give a reason. The league table lists it without a rank while it sends no power.

The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Brockloch Rig 2 as operational since June 2017, with turbines up to 120 m tall to the blade tip. Fred. Olsen Renewables gives it 30 turbines of 2.05 MW.
