About Kennoxhead
Kennoxhead is an onshore wind farm in Strathclyde, Scotland, with 60 MW of registered generating capacity across one balancing mechanism unit. It is the 85th largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by Perigus Energy. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since 17 October 2026 for the chart.
The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Kennoxhead as under construction in the July 2026 edition (it may already be generating some of its output), with 13 turbines of 4.8 MW, up to 180 m tall to the blade tip.
