About Benbrack

Benbrack is an onshore wind farm in East Ayrshire, Scotland, with 67 MW of registered generating capacity across one balancing mechanism unit. It is the 78th largest of the 163 wind farms in GridMonkey's list of Britain's wind farms that report to Elexon, and is operated or mostly owned by Red Rock Power. Every half hour it tells the grid how much it will generate (its physical notification). That is the live figure above, and GridMonkey has recorded it every half hour since 17 October 2026 for the chart.

The government's Renewable Energy Planning Database lists Benbrack as operational since October 2025, with 15 turbines of 4.5 MW, up to 150 m tall to the blade tip.
